Join us for our Surveillance & Cities panel with Simone Browne, Lilly Irani, Tawana Petty, and Shakeer Rahma to discuss how surveillance technologies have been used to target Black and brown communities. April 13 @ 3-4 PM, in-person only. RSVP: tinyurl.com/surveillance-cities

Our panel features scholars and community organizers focused on issues of surveillance. Through a panel discussion followed by a Q&A, we will discuss the impact of surveillance technologies and explore community activism efforts to challenge these systems in cities.

Applications are open for a year-long fellowship at Stanford working with the Center for Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity / Stanford Center for Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity and the Institute for Diversity in the Arts.
