Please join us today, Thursday, January 31st, for a Teaching for Equity Learning Series event with Glenn Singleton. Glenn is the author of Courageous Conversations About Race: A Field Guide for Achieving Equity in Schools and the facilitator of Beyond Diversity, a curriculum that has taught hundreds of thousands of people how to talk effectively about race and address racial disparities.

The event will take place in CERAS 101. It will begin with a light dinner at 6:00, followed by Mr. Singleton’s talk at 6:15.

The Teaching for Equity Learning Series events are open to the broad STEP community (our candidates, cooperating teachers, instructors, supervisors, and alumni). Our aim is to expand and deepen opportunities to engage in important conversations, to build connections within our broad and diverse community, and to acknowledge and appreciate a wide range of experiences, perspectives and approaches to these complex topics.
