Congratulations to all Spring 2022 graduates. The graduation ceremonies this week included a surprise military family visit, an engagement, first-generation college graduates, high school dual enrollment students graduating with a two-year degree before completing high school, and so many inspiring stories of what the future holds for these SF grads.

Some graduates are choosing to continue school at Stanford, Harvard, University of Florida, UNF, USF, UCF, FAMU, and too many more to mention. While others are headed into the workforce, both locally and afar as nurses in, dental assistants, respiratory therapists, plumbers, welders, office administrators, accountants, and the list goes on.

In this year's personalized graduation experience, each graduate had their moment on stage. In addition to having their name read, each graduate had the opportunity to share their accomplishments, future career aspirations, and something personal they wished to share. All in attendance were reminded of the importance of SF's mission to serving North Central Florida and beyond, by adding value to the lives of our students and enriching our community.

Congratulations graduates! We are proud of your perseverance and honored you chose to be a part of the SF family.

Everyone in the high school class of 2022 should find out more and enroll at www.sfcollege.edu/achieve.

Thanks to the generosity of private donors and partnerships with public high schools in Alachua and Bradford counties, Santa Fe College (SF) is transforming the college-going experience with a new program.

SF Achieve provides students with mentoring opportunities inside their high schools. That level of mentorship will continue after students enroll at SF, along with a stipend to cover the costs of textbooks. Eligible students will qualify for a full-tuition scholarship that picks up where financial aid leaves off, helping to pay for up to 60 credit hours at SF.

With 60 credit hours, students can earn:
🎓 an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree if they want to transfer to a university;
🎓 an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree or certificate if they want to enter the workforce; or,
🎓 a bachelor's degree, if they first earn an A.A. at SF through High School Dual Enrollment.

In turn, our community will grow a strong workforce, built upon the legacy of our local families.
