We'd like to recognize Bernard Nichols from MSU Housing & Residence Life, who was our BullyWatch winner for the month of May. A special thanks to Zach Agee, for taking the time to nominate Bernard for this recognition. Here's what he wrote:

"Bernard was hired as a new member of the Community Director Team back in August. With very little training, he has risen as one of the top Community Directors on the team. Bernard was very intentional with his student staff throughout the year to be both a supporter and challenger. He is serving as the Chair of Residence Education Staff Development Committee, which means he is responsible for our upcoming fall student staff [Resident Advisor (RA), Community Assistant (CA), & Graduate Residence Director (GRD)] training. Planning our training is a massive task for even our seasoned professionals. However, Bernard is taking the challenge with grace as he finishes his first full professional year. I strongly recommend that Bernard receive recognition for his hard work throughout the year and especially going into the summer months as we prepare for the upcoming fall."

We'd like to recognize Candy Adams from the Meridian Campus, who was our BullyWatch winner for the month of March. A special thanks to Greshka German-Stuart, for taking the time to nominate Candy for this recognition. Here's what she wrote:

"I would like to have recognized Candace (Candy) Adams for going above and beyond and 'get it done' attitude. As a rather new employee to MSU (just over a year) but not as an advisor (20 yrs), I have really enjoyed working with Ms. Adams. She has taken every time she could afford to answer questions, train/review electronic systems used to monitor students, administrative processes, etc. She makes an effort to keep all of us in the advising office updated on newly implemented and/or changes made to many of our services we offer our students. And above all, she is a TEAM PLAYER!!"

We'd like to recognize Andrew Chandler from Information Technology Services, who was our BullyWatch winner for the month of January. A special thanks to Kayla Pineda, for taking the time to nominate Andrew for this recognition. Here's what she wrote:

"Andrew is the absolute best. When I put in a request he gets it done almost immediately. Andrew always makes time for phone calls when I need help and do not know how to put it into writing what I need. There are times when I call him and what I need isn't in his area but he helps me find who I need to reach out to if it isn't him. He works so hard behind the scenes and it is so appreciated."

"Lyntiona is a model employee. She is a very nice and courteous employee. Very helpful, hard working and thoroughly cleans our building. She helps out where she can and make sure students don't leave messes behind and that they are wearing mask in the building. She will go the extra mile to make sure we are satisfied with her work. She never complains and wears a smile daily! We LOVE Lyntiona here in Thompson Hall."

We'd like to recognize Tracy Wilcox from Human Sciences, who was our BullyWatch winner for the month of November. A special thanks to Jenna Schilling, for taking the time to nominate Tracy for this recognition. Here's what she wrote:

"Tracy Wilcox has demonstrated many "Acts of Awesomeness" since covid began. Tracy hasn't missed ANY extra days due to covid. She has been at the desk and working 100%. She has checked on offices that have been abandoned for weeks and caught broken air systems, ant infestations, rotten food left out, etc. In addition, I can't count the number of times she has gone the extra mile for a faculty member. Collecting items for after hours pick ups, processing paperwork, etc... not to mention ironing out the kinks for those using covid leave. She is so detail oriented and takes such good care of all of us in the leave system. Tracy deserves some extra acknowledgement after being such a super star and this award would be awesome!"
