The Zeta Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. kicked off our first voter registration drive of the 2026–2027 sorority year at Louisville High School's R.E. Hinze Stadium!

Our Sorors were on site engaging with community members, sharing voter information, and helping eligible citizens take an important step toward making their voices heard.

And the best part? New voters were registered! 🗳️🙌🏾

As we begin another year of service, Zeta Lambda Sigma remains committed to promoting civic engagement, voter education, and active participation in our communities.

This may be our first voter registration drive of the sorority year, but it certainly won't be our last.

❤️ Sickle Cell Awareness Month | 🎗️ Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

This September, we raise awareness, amplify voices, and stand in support of two communities whose strength deserves to be seen.

❤️ Sickle Cell Disease affects approximately 100,000 people in the United States and disproportionately impacts Black communities. Awareness, education, blood donation, advocacy, and continued research all play a role in improving the lives of individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell.

🎗️ Childhood Cancer remains a reality for thousands of children and families each year. This month, we honor the courageous children fighting, celebrate the survivors, remember those who gained their wings, and stand beside the families navigating the unimaginable.

Throughout September, we encourage our community to learn, advocate, donate, and spread awareness.

❤️ Wear red for Sickle Cell Awareness.
🎗️ Wear gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness.

Together, we can turn awareness into action and action into hope.
