May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. recognizes the importance of mental wellness in our communities and within ourselves. As women committed to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, we must also make space for rest, healing, and honest conversations about mental health.

This month, we encourage our sisters and communities to prioritize self-care, seek support when needed, and extend grace to themselves and others. Strength is not only found in perseverance it is also found in vulnerability, balance, and asking for help.

What an awesome event! This past weekend, the Ladies of MGTA DST proudly partnered with Blackjack M.B. Church and the brothers of Eta Xi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi to host Youth Explosion 2026. It was inspiring to see so many young men and women engaged and learning about important topics like sexting, impersonation, and cyberbullying. Hands on classes were also taught. Together, we’re making a difference! Be on the lookout for our next event.
