Penn State FIJI

Penn State FIJI The Gamma Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at Penn State was founded in 1888. Burrowes Street, on the corner of Burrowes Street and Pollock Avenue.

The Hummel-Fishburn Lodge, our current chapter house built in 1915, is located at 319 N. The Gamma Phi chapter of Phi Gamma Delta is proud to be able to call itself the "first permanently established men's national fraternity on campus." The Gamma Phi chapter at Penn State prides itself in its diversity. Year after year, we grow more and more multicultural and attract men from all majors; Brothers

are pursuing majors from Nuclear Engineering to Kinesiology. Not only are our brother on top of their scholarship, but they are very active within the school and local community. FIJI brothers are members of Lion Ambassadors and Penn State Pride. In addition, FIJI is active with IM sports and THON. We often try to give back to our community by volunteering at the State College Foodbank, hosting 9/11 cookouts, and running Red Cross blood drives.

Proud to announce that the Gamma Phi Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta has just won the 2015 Most Improved Chapter award from IFC and is also THE 2015 Chapter of Excellence. We also placed fifth in the 2015 Greek Sing Competition. Damn Glad

Phi Gamma Delta (also known as Fiji) will shut down a street to support and host its annual “Push” philanthropic event, with all proceeds benefiting local Liberty USO (United Service Organization). The brothers of Fiji started this event last year in conjunction with the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Pi Beta Phi and FIJI have paired for the second annual PUSH philanthropy benefiting the USO and Read > Lead > Achieve! The event consists of teams of eight (8) members who compete in time trials to push a Military Humvee down a stretch of Po***ck Road. Our goal for this year's event, including registration fees, donations, and sponsorships, is $7,500. Please feel free to donate and spread the word about these great causes! Thanks!

This morning some of our brothers were talking about FIJI Push on B94.5 Morning Zoo, check out their post about the event!

Ryan, Dan and Craig were in studio with the B94.5 Morning Zoo Crew promoting the FIJI Push. Teams of 8 will compete pushing a military Hummer 50 yards in hopes of being the fastest to complete it. All proceeds will go to the United Service Organization to raise money for our troops overseas.
