Kays House Regional Heritage Center Kays House as ASU Visitors Center The V.C. Kays House--built in 1936 by Arkansas State University's first president--is in imminent danger of demolition.

Please lend your ideas and support to the restoration and preservation of the Kays House as an ASU Visitors Center to recognize the historic and economic importance of the university. The Visitors Center would be administered as a ASU Heritage Site by Arkansas Delta Byways, which also has developed successful Heritage Sites at Lakeport Plantation, the Pfeiffer-Hemingway Museum in Piggott, the Sout

hern Tenant Farmers Museum in Tyronza, and the Dyess Colony and Johnny Cash Boyhood Home restoration in Dyess.
