I am so honored to be supporting the The Staten Island Foundation in getting the word out about the The Elizabeth Dubovsky Fellowship in Social Work. This is a chance for up to 4 social worker students to be able to have their internship hours as paid hours! Please help share the information for social workers! La Colmena's Beehive Health and Wellness Fair is happening today, August 30 from 12PM – 4 PM at La Colmena on 774 Port Richmond Avenue!

Take part in a health education workshop, join a zumba/ yoga class, and get help signing up for healthcare coverage. Bring your kids for fun, activities, and giveaways! This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Our partner, La Colmena's Overcoming Digital Borders program provides community members access to culturally competent support by attending digital workshops and receiving basic skills training to support their professional development.

Their next free workshop will be held on May 16 from 5 PM - 6PM at their Stapleton location on 88 Canal St, Staten Island. The workshop will feature tips on the modern workforce, online job searches, how to use search engines, and methods of self promotion.

In collaboration with La Colmena, the City of New York, NYC OTI, LinkNYC, and ZenFi Networks, will launch its 5th Gigabit Center to provide internet connectivity to underserved communities in certain distance around La Colmena in Stapleton, Staten Island.
