She Has A Name is a fashion merchandising and apparel design student-led visual exhibit that celebrates the lives of influential black women of Georgia during Women’s History Month. Focusing on historical and present-day women, this display honors the very famous and those lesser-known. With fashion serving as a medium of communication, the exhibit features displays recreating each woman’s clothed appearance to tell the unique story of ten women’s lives and their impact on society. The exhibition will run from March 2nd-March 28th in the gallery on the first floor of the Interdisciplinary Academic Building on the Statesboro Campus of Georgia Southern.
