Big News! 🏆 Georgia Southern Ph.D. student Mohammad "Fuad" Hassan has been awarded the prestigious 2026 STLE Elmer E. Klaus Fellowship.

This nationally competitive honor, presented by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), recognizes exceptional research with the potential to transform energy, aerospace and manufacturing.

Working under the mentorship of Dr. Sevki Cesmeci in the Thermofluidic Systems Laboratory, Fuad’s research into advanced sealing technologies is paving the way for high-efficiency energy innovation.
