The Honors College at Georgia Southern University is a place where students can challenge themselves as they pursue their intellectual and creative interests. The program is designed to foster a critical sense of inquiry, a spirit of creativity, a global perspective, and an ethic of civic responsibility. All Honors College students engage in undergraduate research projects and take advantage of ex

periential learning and service-learning opportunities. We prepare students to develop effective and thorough solutions to our most pressing problems. Having a global perspective and civic responsibility are not luxuries. Our leaders, today and tomorrow, need those qualities, and the Honors College at Georgia Southern University is designed to develop in our students the skills and abilities to help change our world.
