Zeta Tau Alpha at Georgia Southern University

The Zeta Xi Chapter at Georgia Southern University was established on April 27, 1968 in Statesboro, Georgia. Drink Pink!" Lemonade stands around campus.

Since then, the chapter has grown to be one of the most well know organizations on campus! Zeta Xi is responsible for raising over $20,000 annually for our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education, with annual events such as a male beauty pageant called Big Man On Campus (BMOC), Strawberry Sales, Yoplait Yogurt Lid Collection and Yogurt Eating Contest, Pack the House in Pink GSU basketb

all game, Race for the Cure, Prom Dress Drive, and "Think Pink! Our Zeta Xi chapter is full of fun, smart, and beautiful women who are devoted to our philanthropy and one another. We came to college to find our place, but what we've found in ZTA is a home away from home, our best friends, and our sisters. Our sisterhood means everything and we are constantly working to better our community, our chapter, and our lives. EXECUTIVE COUNCIL:

MEET EXEC MONDAY🤸🏻‍♀️💐🩵 Meet Ella Gaddis, Zeta Xi’s VP Member Experience!! Let’s hear a little more from Ella herself!!

“Hi! My name is Ella Gaddis, I’m going into my senior year at Georgia Southern as a supply chain and logistics major! I’m from Darien, Georgia. One of my favorite things about Zeta is the community, I came to college feeling lost and not really knowing what I wanted out of college. I found a home away from home, my best friends, and most importantly confidence! Zeta also allowed me to grow into a leader! I currently serve as VP Member Experience! A fun fact about me, is that I love to be on the water- whether it’s fishing, sailing, or going to the beach!”

“One of the things I’m most thankful for about Zeta is having Halle as my big. Having Halle as my big is truly the best blessing. Going to college I desired a perfect friendship like what me and Halle have. She is not only my big but one of my best friends. She has shown up for me not just as a big but as a friend. The day I met her I knew immediately I wanted her as my big. Halle is the person I go to whenever I need advice or to talk to when I’m having a long day and no matter what we always have fun together! I know I can count on her for anything and I’m so thankful Zeta gave me her!!”

🌟PHILANTHROPY HIGHLIGHT🌟

This year, our chapter logged 1,135 community service hours and raised over $106,000 in support of breast cancer education, awareness, and research. Over the past two years, we have raised more than $250,000 through events including Strawberry Sales, Big Man on Campus, and Crawfish for a Cure.

$66K+ raised through Strawberry Sales 2026
$50K+ raised through BMOC 2025
$1,160 raised through Crawfish for a Cure

On a national level, the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation has distributed more than 27.6 million pink ribbons and donated $1.75 million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2022 as the organization’s largest supporter.

We are proud to support a mission that continues to change lives and fund critical Breast Cancer Education and Research year after year🩷
