From the early morning setup to the final certificate presentation, Swim 1922 was a day filled with learning, laughter, and life-saving lessons. 💙💛 Participants had the opportunity to hear from trained lifeguards, practice water safety skills, build confidence in the pool, and enjoy a day of fun alongside family, volunteers, and community partners. As a signature program of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., is dedicated to promoting water safety awareness and reducing drowning disparities in our communities. We are proud to continue this important work while creating memorable experiences for the youth we serve.

Congratulations to all of our participants on completing this year's program, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success.

What an incredible day in the pool!

The Ladies of Chi Sigma and Xi Sigma were proud to host our annual Swim 1922 program, providing youth with opportunities to build confidence in the water while learning important water safety skills. Through education, engagement, and plenty of fun, participants gained valuable knowledge that can help save lives.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported this impactful initiative. Together, we are making waves and creating safer communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Thornton Professional Firefighters Local 5512 for their generous $500 donation in support of our Swim 1922 Water Safety Initiative.

Their investment helps us continue raising awareness about water safety, addressing drowning disparities in underserved communities, and providing life-saving education that empowers individuals and families to be safer in and around the water.

Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death for children, yet access to water safety education and swim instruction is not equal across all communities. Through Swim 1922, we are working to change that by increasing awareness, promoting water competency, and connecting families with resources that can help save lives.

This important work is only possible through community partnerships like this one. We are grateful to Thornton Professional Firefighters Local 5512 for standing with us in our mission to create a safer, healthier future for all.

Together, we are building partnerships, raising awareness, and making a difference—one life at a time.
