We ended our day in Nafplio. Several of us went to the Bourtzi Fortress, an island off of Nafplio.

This afternoon we learned about the pre-historic Mycenae period. We visited the Treasury of Atreos (often incorrectly attributed as the tomb of Agamemnon), then the museum, then up past the Lion’s Gate.

Today we walked in the footsteps of th Apostle Paul in Corinth. We started in the museum on the site of Ancient Corinth, then went up the mountain to Acrocorinth (literally high Corinth). It was on this site that we found the Church of St Dimitrios, where Paul preached to the early Christians.

Today we toured the National Archaeological Museum with our dear friend and guide, Anda Mitropoulou.

We finished our day in Arachova with lunch and an opportunity to explore. The students found a playground on the way to the bus and had to stop to play :)

We started our day with a lesson on weaving using a loom, then each of us got to try out hand weaving.
