UW-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business and Economics Sentry School of Business & Economics www.uwsp.edu/business/sentry-school-of-business-and-economics Accounting grads enjoy better than 93 percent placement.

In the Sentry School of Business & Economics at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, we offer our students proactive academic programs, close relationships with faculty, rich learning experiences, and—most importantly—solid preparation for careers in business, accounting, and economics. Our students are engaged in remarkable experiences that increase the breadth and depth of their understanding

of the global marketplace. Internships and study abroad opportunities—like our internship in China—help teach students the creative thinking and decision-making skills they’ll need to achieve their goals in the ever-changing world of business. The payoff is clear: our students are among the highest-paid UWSP graduates, and more than 75 percent land jobs related to their fields. Our faculty members’ ongoing research and scholarship includes projects such as the Central Wisconsin Economics Research Bureau, which brings vital economic analysis to the region’s businesses. And we’re always looking for opportunities to involve students in research and learning projects that can benefit Central Wisconsin’s business. Our 30 faculty and staff members currently serve 1,200 students and more than 6,000 alumni. As the business climate continues to change, we’re all working together to create a strong future for Central Wisconsin—and beyond. Whether you’re a prospective student, a member of the business community, or a potential contributor to our programs—we hope you’ll join us in that effort.

Congratulations to Arianna Bartoli, Quinton Hill and Anna Petri for receiving the 2026 Albertson Medallion Award! This is the highest award given by our university; less than one percent of the graduating class has been selected. These students are a select group of graduating seniors who have shown tremendous leadership through academia and stewardship at UW-Stevens Point.

Year 1 in Review: Since officially launching as the Ruth E. Salzmann Center for Women’s Leadership on Oct. 1, 2025, thanks to Sentry's generous gift, we have hosted over 500 students and guests on campus during the 16 events offered throughout the year.

We've learned from speakers and authors, connected students with local leaders, provided support for our community through food, clothing, and hygiene kit donations, hosted podcasts with trailblazers, and so much more.

We'd also like to thank Northwestern Mutual - Kempf District Office for their help in supporting our impactful programming. We look forward to continuing our mission to be a collaborative hub for all leaders on the rise. Stay tuned for many great events to come!

Congrats Ryan!
