UWSP PAVE

UWSP PAVE UWSP PAVE (Promoting Awareness/Victim Empowerment) is dedicated to shattering the silence of sexual, interpersonal, and discriminatory violence.

PAVE of UWSP is a student organization that promotes awareness and educates students and the community about sexual violence and intimate partner violence. We work together with the community and campus to create concise materials of where to go for help when an incident has occurred. Most importantly though, we strive to help survivors of these crimes feel empowered once again!

Greetings,

With the 2018-19 academic year coming to an end, our organization is putting up all Executive Board positions for open nominations. In other words, all current Executive Board members are stepping down due to personal reasons and/or graduation.

PAVE of UWSP is a student organization affiliated with the national nonprofit organization in accordance with university policy. This organization works on behalf of survivors of interpersonal violence, empowering them, and educating campus and community members of interpersonal violence.

The nominations ballot for the 2019-20 academic year can be found here: https://spin.uwsp.edu/submitter/form/start/267986
This nomination ballot will be open until May 5th, 2019. Upon the nominations ballot closing, the elections ballot will be sent out.

If there are no sufficient nominations submitted, we will sadly close this organization down at the end of this semester due to short staffing. Please spread the word if you think you know someone who may be interested in helping survivors of interpersonal violence and educating campus/community members.

If you have any further questions, please email [email protected] or communicate with the Executive Director through [email protected].

Best,
Kaitlyn Keech
