This spring, members of the Concert Choir participated in a research study exploring how different standing formations affect the singing voice. The study is led by Teaching Assistant Professor of Voice Natalie Cummings and is funded by the University Personnel Development Committee Research and Creative Activities Grant. “We are grateful for the opportunity to engage undergraduate students in research, and they are excited to learn the results of the study and how it may inform their future teaching and performance.”

The Concert Choir is directed by Assistant Professor Matheus Cruz with support from research assistant Mikayla Nodorft, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major and a music minor.
