Last month we held our Iris Reunion, celebrating the UWSP class of 1976 and 50 years since graduation. A wonderful group of Pointers got to enjoy a champagne brunch with the Chancellor and University leadership, a tour of the new Gale and Paul Kirby Library and Student Resource Center, a genealogy class from UWSP Archives and Area Research Center, and an opportunity to be part of the first commencement ceremony for new Pointer alumni!

From interning with WJFW NewsWatch 12 to the Wausau Woodchucks to the UW-Stevens Point Athletic Department, LaRock has been able to expand her portfolio immensely. UWSP continues to lead on sustainability!

The Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology at held a grand opening for the new, state-of-the-art Compostability Testing Laboratory on May 20. This lab allows researchers to evaluate materials and determine if they will break down under standard composting conditions.
