Our universities have merged their resources to provide a unique professional doctorate program. We are hiring a program director for the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program to provide visionary and strategic leadership to implement the new standalone graduate program focused on developing outstanding clinicians who are committed to community engagement and rural health access. The director oversees all aspects of program administration, including curriculum development, applying for accreditation and maintaining compliance, and budget management. This role ensures the program’s alignment with the mission of UWSP and the standards of the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language-Pathology (CAA), fostering an inclusive learning environment that prepares graduates for evidence-based, person-centered practice. The program director represents the program within the university and professional community and promotes innovation in teaching, scholarship, and clinical partnerships. 🌟Faculty Spotlight 🌟

We’d like to recognize Professor Pam Terrell from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, UW-Stevens Point College of Professional Studies, for her ongoing dedication to student learning and library research skills.

For her CSD 366 course, Language Impairments in Young Children, Professor Terrell asks students to meet with a librarian to help locate sources for their end-of-semester research paper. Her enthusiasm for connecting students with library resources helps make the research process more engaging, approachable, and meaningful. Students often discover materials and resources they may not have explored otherwise in this upper-level course.

Thank you, Professor Terrell, for helping students build strong research skills and for connecting them with the wealth of knowledge and support available through the library!
