As the Spring 2026 season comes to an end we’d like to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of our anglers this season. The Pointers had a great 2026 season with teams competing in tournaments in the Bassmaster College Series series, Collegiate Bass Fishing Series series, and MLF5 college series. The team had three pairs qualify for national championships and have a current team ranking of 25th in the MLF5 college circuit.
We’d like to highlight anglers Ethan Ferguson and William Weber for their 5th out of 210 boats at Table Rock Lake this April in the MLF5 college tournament as well as Eddie Payne and Severin Tubbin | Bass Fishing for finishing 24th qualifying both teams for the MLF College National Championship next year. Our third national qualifying pair are anglers August Kukis and Josh Route who finished 16th out of 250 boats at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in the Bassmaster College Series series event this February.
The team would also like to thank all of those who support us and make this possible for us. Especially all of our sponsors, the university, and our families for their constant support. The team is extremely excited to get the Fall 2026 season kicked off! Roll Dogs! 🐕
