Wisconsin Covenant Scholars, we regret to inform you that the Wisconsin Covenant Program on Campus will no longer be in action. The Covenant Program will not be hosting any Covenant-specific activities; however, all of the same services such as, workshops and service projects are still available throughout campus. We will still be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have throughout this transition, so do not hesitate to contact us, we will be sure to get back to you. All Scholars will still continue to receive their scholarship money this year. If you have any questions about the scholarship money, please contact Maggie Kuhl from the Financial Aid Office for help. You can reach her at: [email protected] or 715 346-4771. Lastly, we would like to thank you all for helping us have such a great program, it was truly a pleasure to be able to work with you all!

Need a costume for Halloween? Looking for unique clothes? Come to the NFAC Courtyard to purchase cheap clothes from the UWSP Dept. of Theatre and Dance Costume Shop. Come with cash. TOMORROW is the last day to purchase items. Items will be sold from 9:30am-3:00pm.

UWSP Employee Wellness is hosting a Zumba party just for you TODAY 11:00-2:00 in HEC 154. The team of enthusiastic instructors will be thrilled to have you join in at any time and leave as you please. Wear comfortable clothing and they suggest wearing pink for pink out day! Are you ready to ZUMBA!? (If you have any pink yogurt lids please bring them and donate to Save Lids to Save Lives! We will also be taking donations for the Susan G. Komen foundation during the Zumba party.)

Mark your calendar for the 2012 HallowGreen Barn Bash! FUNdraiser for the Greenhouse Project THIS SATURDAY from 3:00 pm- 10:00 pm at Wetter's Farm, 485 Casimir Rd, Stevens Point.
A shuttle service well be available from 6-10:30 pm, leaving The Greenhouse Project on the hour and the Wetter farm on the half hour. The cost for the shuttle is $5 for the night, unlimited rides.
Enjoy the Chili Cookoff, Costume Contest, Pumpkin Carving, Family Games, Psychic Reading, Live Music, and Bon Fire.
Admission is $15, $10 in costume. Also there will be Chili Samples $1 each. Local brews from Central Waters Brewery will be available for purchase. Zest Bakery & Coffee will be selling tea, coffee and sweets

PAWS (Pointers Achieving Wellness) is hosting a booth this year at the Benefits Fair on Tuesday October 16. They are looking for new or gently used hats, mittens, or gloves. Donations will be given to the local Stevens Point Salvation Army. PAWS thanks you for your generosity!

Hey scholars here is a chance for you to get creative and show your work around campus. UWSP is doing Art in Pieces, you can get a piece of canvas that you will design with the theme "conflict." They will then collect them all and put them up around campus for one big masterpiece! All skill levels are welcome.
