Thinking of Emily, a UWSP grad student/bird enthusiast/scientist, on National Read a Book Day, and one of our newer titles, "The Return of the Oystercatcher: Saving Birds to Save the Planet," by Scott Weidensaul.

It’s a hopeful look at how conservation efforts around the world are helping threatened bird populations recover, and what those successes can teach us about protecting the planet.

Today we say good luck (and goodbye) to Shaun Przybylski, our Acquisitions Coordinator, after nine years here. Shaun is off to an exciting new opportunity, and we will miss him!

For those who don’t know, Shaun is also a proud member of Dad’s Computers—the NUMBER ONE Trivia team for many years running. And if you’re not from Stevens Point, Trivia is basically a local “national holiday.” 😊https://90fm.org/events/trivia/

Shaun says he’ll miss everyone (and our brand-new, spanking-cool building!), but thankfully, he plans to come back and visit us as a patron.
