🔸Where in the World are Our Extension Folks?🔸
It has been a very busy November already for these Extension folks! Check out what they have been up to!
November 1: Delaney taught a workshop about the legislative branch to enthusiastic 4th-6th graders at the Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor program event, where future civic leaders learned more about their state government.
November 2: Delaney traveled to Wewoka, OK to teach the 4-H district officers about values-based leadership, teaching them how to be authentic leaders in their future 4-H endeavors across the state.
November 2: Dr. Cline traveled to Denver, CO to deliver a presentation, “Enhancing Collaboration and Reducing Burnout in Rural Food Animal Veterinary Practice through Problem-Solving Training,” at the American Association for Extension Veterinarians Symposium.
November 3: Dr. Cline taught the OSU Collegiate 4-H club about values-based leadership and being an authentic leader.
November 3-5: Dr. Brown, Dr. King, and Delaney attended the Rural Renewal Symposium with fellow OSU personnel as well as rural enthusiasts from various other states. They presented sessions and posters discussing their work in rural spaces.
November 4: Dr. Cline traveled to Edmond, OK where she presented a workshop about generational differences in the workplace at the Oklahoma Grape Growers and Winemakers Conference.
November 5-6: Dr. King traveled to Altus, OK for the Rural Confluence Annual Meeting. She had a fun and rural-filled week!
All was fun in the name of Extension!
