The Music Division of the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Oklahoma State University is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, and is proud to offer a wide variety of degree programs. It also offers many opportunities for non-music majors to participate in ensembles and applied instruction. Special thanks to the Doug and Nickie Burns family for providing the Doug

and Nickie Burns Endowed Chair in Choral Music. This endowed chair is a very important resource for the choral area at OSU. Dr. Tony Thornton currently holds that chair position.
