"When I went through formal recruitment my freshman year, Zeta was my top choice from the very beginning. Although my journey looked a little different than I expected, I knew in my heart that Zeta was where I belonged.

After being accepted into nursing school, I decided to rush in the spring as a sophomore, and getting the opportunity to finally call Zeta home was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Coming back to the place and the people I loved from the start felt like everything had fallen into place exactly how it was meant to.

Zeta has given me endless opportunities, friendships, and a home away from home. It has taught me the importance of kindness, humility, and always showing up for others. Every day I am surrounded by women who inspire me to be the best version of myself, and I am so grateful to be part of something bigger than myself.

Waiting only made me appreciate this sisterhood even more. Zeta will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am so thankful for every memory, lesson, and friendship it has brought into my life."

“I love Zeta because it is the one place where I can be completely and unapologetically be myself. Coming to college as a first-generation college student and first-generation Greek life student, I arrived on campus carrying so much uncertainty. I had no idea what recruitment would look like, whether I would fit in, or if I would ever find a place that truly felt like home.

Then I walked through the doors of Zeta.

From the very beginning, I was welcomed by women who were kind, genuine, and authentic. With every round of recruitment, I found myself falling more and more in love with Zeta. The conversations felt effortless, the smiles felt sincere, and the women I met made me feel valued for exactly who I was. For the first time since arriving at college, I felt like I could stop worrying about fitting in and simply be myself.

What makes Zeta so special to me is the people. The women in this chapter are the most intentional friends I have ever had. They celebrate each other’s victories, support each other through challenges, and never hesitate to offer a helping hand. Their kindness and genuine love for people inspire me every single day.

Some of my favorite memories have come from simply living in house and doing life alongside my sisters. Whether it is late-night conversations, spontaneous kitchen chats, or sleepovers that somehow happen almost every night, those moments have become some of the most meaningful parts of my college experience.

Serving as Vice President of Programming means more to me than I could ever put into words. To give back to the organization that has given me so much is one of the greatest honors of my life.

Zeta gave me so much more than a place to belong. It gave me confidence when I doubted myself, opportunities when I never thought I was qualified, friendships that will last a lifetime, and a home away from home. Most importantly, it gave me a family. I will forever be grateful that a scared first-generation college student walked through those doors and found exactly where she was meant to be.”
