Join us for an international experience as we travel to rural Guatemala to work with underprivileged people to increase their food supply and income with improved nutrition and through better horticultural production practices. While in Guatemala, students will explore the conserved colonial city of Antigua, visit the Pacaya volcano, one of Guatemala's most active volcanoes and explore the culture

of Guatemala. Potential projects include container gardening, composting, small scale poultry production, teaching agricultural concepts or vermicomposting. Course credit is available through HORT 4053 or HORT 5010 for graduate credit. Since 2010 this international experience has partnered with the Hunger Relief International Program (www.hungerreliefinternational.org) and ByoEarth (www.byoearth.com/). For more information contact Dr. Lynn Brandenberger or call 405-744-5408. The 2016 trip is May 21 - 29.
