Judgers, Alumni, and Friends: Help Our Teams Hit the Road!

The OKState Animal Science Alumni Association has launched the "Fill the Hat" campaign to provide critical van support for our judging teams.

Current member of the 2026 OSU Meat Judging Team and meat science undergrad lab assistant, Ellie Drach recently attended the American Meat Science Association JBS Global Ingenuity STEM Program (Student Training and Education Program).

This year, students developed innovative sausage products, exploring complementary flavor profiles, evaluating target markets, and building strategic marketing plans. Teams also considered nutritional value and current industry trends, culminating in final presentations delivered to a panel of judges.
