🌿 Field Day Opportunity – June 17, 2026 🌿

An ornamentals field day will be held Wednesday, June 17, at Marcum’s Nursery in Goldsby, Oklahoma.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the working nursery, including tree production fields, greenhouses and behind-the-scenes growing operations that support Marcum’s locations across the state. The day will also highlight plant production practices, compost production and new developments at the nursery.

This free event is open to all and will provide a great opportunity for learning, networking and connecting with fellow plant enthusiasts and green industry professionals.

The Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Olmsted Scholars Program recognizes student leadership, academic achievement and commitment to the future of landscape architecture. Chloe joins a group of 97 student leaders from across the United States and Canada receiving this recognition.

As a recent landscape architecture graduate, Chloe has demonstrated dedication to the profession through her leadership, passion and growth both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud to see her representing Oklahoma State University on a national stage.

Congratulations to recent PhD graduate Amandeep Kaur on receiving the Spring 2026 Graduate Research Excellence Award in biological sciences! 🎉🔬

Presented by the OSU Graduate College in partnership with the OSU Research Office, this award recognizes outstanding research accomplishments reflected in a student’s thesis or dissertation and serves as Oklahoma State University’s highest public recognition of graduate student research achievement.

Amandeep was recognized for excellence in her PhD dissertation research and received a certificate, Presidential Letter of Commendation and commemorative plaque honoring her accomplishments.
