🌟STAFF SPOTLIGHT!🌟 Another week, another chance for us to brag about our staff! This week for Staff Spotlight, we are highlighting Allison Harris!

Allison has been with UHS since May 2019. She works as the Lab Coordinator and makes sure everything runs smoothly for our staff and patients. Allison was born and raised in Stillwater, but now lives in Perkins with her husband Darrin and her two children, Conner and Callie. Allison loves getting to watch her kids race at the dirt bike track, but if she is not there or at work, you can find her cooking, baking, or reading!

Here are some of the reasons Allison was nominated by his colleagues for this week’s Staff Spotlight:

Allison is one of the most motivated, diligent, and hardworking individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. She is dedicated to her role at UHS, and she consistently supports her coworkers while fostering a positive, collaborative environment. She takes pride in her work and approaches every task with determination, ensuring it is completed to the highest standard. Allison is truly a pleasure to work with, and we are very fortunate to have her as part of our team.

🌟STAFF SPOTLIGHT!🌟 It’s Friday, which means it’s time to highlight another one of our amazing staff members! This week, we are spotlighting Mike Skouby!

Mike works as the Pharmacy Manager for UHS and has set the standard of what it means to be a hard worker, but what sets him apart is his dedication both inside and outside the workplace. He has been a part of the team for more than 30 years and is known for his patented smile to students, staff, and faculty. A family-focused man, Mike and his wife serve their church faithfully and have raised two children.

Here are some of the reasons Mike was nominated by his colleagues for this week’s Staff Spotlight:

Mike is not only an incredible human being but also an outstanding coworker. He genuinely cares about the well-being of both his colleagues and his patients. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every patient gets what they need and leaves satisfied. If we’re ever unable to fill a prescription, he takes the initiative to call around until he finds a solution. It’s truly a pleasure to work with Mike, and we are all thankful for his experience and for making our clinic better!

🌟STAFF SPOTLIGHT!🌟 This week, we are highlighting a staff member who helped bring this series together, Tierra Eller!

Tierra has been part of the OSU family for more than 17 years and joined UHS in August 2018. A proud mom of three to Kinley, Trigg, and Trey, and wife to Kyle for nearly 20 years. Tierra grew up in Welch, Oklahoma, came to OSU for college, and never left. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her cheering from the sidelines at a volleyball or baseball game or at the golf course.

Here are some of the reasons Tierra was nominated by her colleagues for this week’s Staff Spotlight:

Tierra works behind the scenes as the Manager of Communications and Marketing for UHS. She works hard to spotlight our staff, services, and community outreach programs. However, she is also a shining light amongst our staff. She is kind, dependable, talented, and deserves the spotlight too. Her door is always open, and she makes anyone who walks through the UHS doors feel welcome! We are lucky to work with someone like her!

It’s STI Awareness Week!

SAW provides us an opportunity to talk about how STI’s are impacting lives every day. Together we can reduce the stigma, fear and discrimination around STI’s, and educate ourselves on the tools and knowledge for prevention, testing and treatment.

🌟STAFF SPOTLIGHT!🌟 Susie O’Daniel is our staff member we are highlighting this week, and we are excited to share the impact she has made!

Susie is originally from Memphis, TN and came to Oklahoma for college and decided to stay. She has been working tirelessly since she started with UHS in 2014, to ensure accurate coding for both the clinic and patient. When Susie isn't working, you can find her spending time with her parents at Primrose Assisted Living, listening to music or relaxing at TJ Maxx.

Here are some of the reasons Susie was nominated by her colleagues for this week’s Staff Spotlight:

Susie has served in a variety of roles at UHS, and most recently, is our go-to for all things insurance. She is full of insurance knowledge and is consistently looking for ways to assist UHS patrons in meeting their insurance needs. Additionally, she has created and conducted specialized trainings for our UHS Medical Office Assistants. She is always willing to stop what she’s doing to answer our questions. Susie radiates positivity and makes UHS a great place to work!
