Thank you to the Nabholz construction team for hosting 29 OSU Interior Design students for an 8am site visit to the Stillwater Orthopedic Center project. The Nabholz team and architects from REES presented to the students about the building design, site work, construction documents and project management processes for the new 30,000 state-of-the-art facility on the Stillwater Medical Center campus.

Last week our senior Interior Design students shared 10 team designs for the Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program for nursing home eligible older adults who wish to stay in their homes but need the support of the PACE programming. I'm posting a few examples from several of the team designs for the 15,000 sq ft adaptive reuse project which incorporates historic preservation, evidence-based design principles and a mixed-use program with medical offices, physical therapy, social, health and wellness activities and dining. Many thanks to our Design and Merchandising Advisory Board members Tiffany Harper and Amber Nave for attending the presentations and for sharing your time and expertise with our students as they continue to develop and grow as designers.
