OSU Center for Sovereign Nations Student Resource Center at Oklahoma State University with a focus on Sovereignty, Students, and Partnerships.

The OSU Center for Sovereign Nations was founded in 2015 with a lead investment by the Chickasaw Nation and later investments by the Choctaw Nation and Cherokee Nation. The Center collaborates with many tribal nations and serves all native students and their friends.

Chickasaw Junior says, “The Center has impacted my time as an undergraduate student in many ways. I have made lifelong friends with my coworkers. The Center has taught me a lot about sovereignty and has made me comfortable telling people what sovereignty is and how important it is. Working here has allowed me to work on soft skills, teamwork, communication, leadership, etc, that will help me in my career after graduation.”

We are deeply appreciative for The Chickasaw Nation's partnership throughout the years, including providing the original investment to create a center at OSU dedicated to promoting tribal sovereignty and serving tribal nations and students through partnerships.

Governor Anoatubby’s selfless service and extraordinary leadership will continue to inspire future generations for years to come, and we look forward to cheering on Chris Anoatubby and his leadership.
