From Christine Goerke:

So tomorrow night, I get to participate in a concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stony Brook University’s Music Department with the *fabulous* StonyBrook Symphony Orchestra- It’s my alma mater.
I will be honest, I wondered if trying to plan the Immolation Scene with a very fine grad orchestra was going to go smoothly.
I am truly embarrassed that the thought even crossed my mind, as I can’t TELL you how incredibly these amazing musicians played this score for Mo. Timothy Long at our rehearsal this afternoon. I am SO excited to be “home” at the Staller Center to celebrate- if you’re in the area?
PLEASE JOIN US! You won’t regret it!!
