Stony Brook Cantonese Club - CTC Established by a group of passionate Cantonese students, CTC aims to instill traditional and modern Cantonese culture into the campus community.

The mission of Stony Cantonese Club is to increase the interaction among students through various activities, such as general body meetings, club events. Where club members can meet regularly to create their own networks and have more attachment with the club. Our aim is to increase awareness and understanding of Cantonese culture.

We got our very own DANCING 💃 WITH THE STARS ⭐️ thanks to Phoebe here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Like the star ✨💫 that she is 💁🏻‍♀️ she’s always SHINING on stage 🤩 whenever she BUSTS A MOVE 🤯💥 as entourage for any pageant or dance that the club has 👸🏻👑 which we are SO thankful for 🙇🏻‍♀️ This girl literally can learn the moves 👩🏻‍🏫 in less than 🔟 minutes and picks things up SO QUICKLY ⏱️ which shows she’s clearly a level above us 📈 when it comes to shaking it up 😼🌠 Her moves also expand to TAEKWONDO 🥋 but she stopped in the 5th grade 👶🏻 Like the IDOL that she is her makeup is literally UNMOVABLE 💄💋 and she pops out with her little pink tote 💓 the cutest hair accessories 🎀 and earrings 💎while her outfit always SLAPS 👗👡 so PLEASE teach us your TIPS and TRICKS 🙏🥺 When she’s not busy being PERFECT 🥰👌 she’s a walking MANHUA 📖 and CDRAMA library 🎬 and you can find her bussing down a salad at SAC 🥗 at the speed of a TURTLE 🐢 a piece of lettuce at a time 🥬 slurping buldak 🍜 playing her cats and soup game that she’s at a crazy high level in 🐱🥣 or NEVER because she’s a homebody ❎🏡 But here’s a piece of advice 🤫 stay INSIDE if you see her behind a steering wheel 🚘 because she’s failed her DRIVING TEST 🛞📝 a little too many times 😥 Her DRAWINGS are super duper cute ✍️🎨 and we can’t wait to see more of what she comes up with too 👀🖼️ Our HYPER GIRL 🤪 may be quiet at first 🤐 but she is so SWEET 🍭 and a YAPPER 🗣️ when you get to know her 🥹 so don’t be intimidated if she doesn’t say hi first 👋 she just has bad eyesight 🧐 Have a BLAST 🚀🤩 being 1️⃣9️⃣ and eat lots of CAKE for us cutie 🍰🎉

Not that long ago 🕘 (but long enough), Dylan was basically EVERYWHERE at Stony Brook 🐺. RA at Keller for THREE 3️⃣ WHOLE YEARS (he just loves it there I guess 🤷‍♂️), grabbing his go to meals from Ms.Kim 🥰 at Jasmine, working shifts at SAC ☕️, and somehow still finding time to chill at Tabler. You could also catch him lifting at the Rec 🏋️‍♂️but whatever you do, DON’T ❌ hand him a basketball 🏀 unless you want to watch him miss every single shot 🙈

Oh, and yes—that was him in Mr. K 2022, fully committed as Finn from Adventure Time 🗡️ 🐶 .

Fuzhounese by background, but somehow knows Cantonese…kind of🤫. He swears he’s fluent… but we’ve heard the evidence 🧏‍♂️. He always pretends to be chill 🙄 but let’s be honest, this guy is the definition of chalant.

During his time here, he also held it down as our Event Coordinator 😱 for 2024 ‼️Big presence, bigger personality 😎 campus just hit different with him around 😩

These days, Dylan’s traded late nights at SAC 😴 for early morning ☀️ shifts at a colonoscopy clinic 👀. Man really went from campus legend 💯 to butt specialist 🍑 … respectfully 🤭. He’s mellowed out a bit, but don’t be fooled he’s still on that gym GRIND 💪🏼

When he’s not helping people 👥 with their… digestive health 🫣, he’s queueing up on Valorant. Still HARD STUCK Gold… 😕 Aim? Questionable 💀

On GOD 😋 you probably recognize 👀 Ethan from something 🤔 because he’s practically done everything in the books 📖✔️ Mr. BCA 👑 event coordinator 🎭 and
now PRESIDENT 👨🏻‍💼 you name it 😱 Hes even found a newfound passion ✨⭐️ as a dancer in PUSO CULTURAL 🇵🇭 and you may remember him 🧠 from Asia Night 🎤🌃 Even after all that he’s still ALWAYS 😤 ready to buss down some MOVES 🪩🎵 to dance as backup in almost every pageant 🫅🏻 because he LOVES to throw it BACK 🍑 and to eat it up as the STAR 🌟🤩 in every tiktok we make 😹 In an alternate universe he wants to be reincarnated as a DUCK 🦆 and it shows from the way he FROLICKS 🚶🏻‍♂️ around campus 🏫 but until then he’ll be speeding and vrooming 💨💨 behind his WHIP 🚗 Based off of experience 🤩 he even cut down Bing travel time ⏰ by a WHOPPING 1️⃣5️⃣ MINUTES 🤯 Maybe he needs to put a stop 🛑 to this because he clearly didn’t 😵❌ and ended up in COURT 👨🏻‍⚖️ after running a RED LIGHT 😡💔 As if being pulled over 🚔🚨 a BAJILLION times wasn’t enough 😿 But still he’s always ready to drive for CTC 🐼 with his sonny angels staring right at our cab every ride 👁️ Our PERSONAL DABIN 😏 here has also found a new hobby 😲 in DJING recently 🎧 and we cannot wait for him to host his own RAVE 💥🎵 because dabin got competition now I fear 😨👨‍🎤 Our most dedicated member here 😎⚡️ is also a CHARMER 🤗 and takes his presidency SERIOUSLY 🫵💥 making sure EVERYONE is taken care of 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 and MAKES TIME ⏳ in his busy schedule 😥📆 even when he doesn’t have any 🥹 Literally count on this guy to be down for a LATE NIGHT FOOD RUN 🤤🌙 because he WILL say YES 🌚🙌 even in a middle of a SNOW STORM (this is fact) ❄️☃️ Have an AMAZING 2️⃣1️⃣st and get litty prezzy 🔥🤪
