Asian-American Pacific Islander Alliance (AAPIA) is part of the Multicultural Engagement Leadership Team (MELT) at Buena Vista University. MELT's purpose is to "...foster a safe and secure environment that celebrates personal and professional growth." MELT's vision is to "...develop an environment that promotes sensitivity and understanding, and provides all students with the opportunity to celebrate diversity and self identity."

Buenafication Day with AAPIA

Our schedule:

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – meet at the bell, we will walk (8-10 min) together to Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Here, we are doing a Spring cleaning of the facility inside and out.

12 p.m. -1 p.m. – Picnic Lunch

3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m – meet at the bell if you've signed-up to do face painting at the Storm Lake Elementary School. My car fits 5 people including myself, and I will take us to the school. Anyone that wants to come but never signed-up, you are welcome to join but must find your own ride.

Buenafication Day is just around the corner remember to register. If you don't have an organization to go with, you could come with AAPIA! We'll be doing spring cleaning of the facility inside and out! Projects will include but are not limited to raking, dusting, and planting new flowers. They may also go over to "Our Place."
