The Department of Geography, Sustainability, Community, and Urban Studies will be having their first colloquium on Thursday, March 6 at 3:30 PM in BPB 130. Dr. Ethan Miller, co-coordinator of the Land in Common community land trust, will be presenting on "alternatives to the economy," and an experimental framework for thinking carefully and systematically about livelihood beyond the conventional categories. Lunch will be provided!

Congratulations to the UConn Geography Bowl team on winning their fourth NESTVAL championship! James, Jack, and Hunter beat UMass in a hard fought final round, and took home the victory! This is UConn's second win in three years and first win with exclusively undergraduates.
