UConn Gives is live – make your impact today!

Support the Samantha Calzone scholarship and help other students develop their passions and achieve their dreams as Samantha did. Right now, every dollar you give is matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, by Samantha’s family. Help inspire a future generation!

Samantha ’18 (CAHNR) was captain of UConn’s equestrian team and was lovingly called “mom” by her teammates – she kept everyone grounded, focused and supported. In UConn’s Department of Animal Science, Samantha found a community that nurtured her growth and helped her build the confidence and skills to thrive.

Although her life was tragically cut short in 2019, her legacy continues through the scholarship. – supporting students who share her passion, dedication and spirit.
