We’re excited to share a great upcoming event featuring Kia Huggan next UConn Alumnus and former Engineering House Student who worked in the IZone.

The event will take place on Monday in the Pharmacy Biology Building (PBB), room 131 from 6-7 pm.

We welcome Kia who went on to grad school at Harvard and later launched a company called Webquity.

Her goal was to make websites accessible for all, especially neurodiverse people, and so designed a plug-in called “Digital Glasses.”

The plug-in can help neurodiverse learners better control their experience on different websites.

Her talk will focus on the entrepreneurship aspect of starting a company focused on equity and inclusion.

We hope you will join us!
