The Graduate School at UConn The Graduate School is the home for graduate and postdoctoral education at the University of Connecticut.

The University of Connecticut offers graduate degrees in over 100 subjects, with nearly 7000 students enrolled in master, doctoral, and certificate programs. Students study fields as diverse as art history, quantum physics, sociolinguistics, environmental economics, materials science, biology, history, early childhood education and music. The Graduate School serves as the focal point for these activities.

Thank you for such a wonderful Graduate Student Appreciation Week! From the Women’s Center kickoff, to workshops, ice cream, the 3MT competition, Waffle Wednesday, our multicultural food and music festival, and trivia night we had such a wonderful time celebrating our incredible graduate students. Challenge will be hosted April 8, 2026, at the UConn School of Business in Hartford. 100 graduate and undergraduate students will respond to six industry challenge problems, and the winning teams for each challenge will split a $5,000 prize, and all student resumes will be provided to the Challenge Sponsors.
