UConn Undergraduate Psychological Sciences Advising Office assists students with important academic information, promotes events, and tips and strategies for academic success. Psychological sciences is one of the largest majors at UConn with about 1,500 students (1,100 at Storrs and 400 distributed across the regional campuses) at any given time. With so many students, the psychological sciences d

epartment is also one of the largest departments at UConn with over 50 faculty and a large team of administrative staff.

Our office has extended drop-in hours through Monday, September 14th, which is the last day to add or drop a course without a “W” appearing on your transcript.

Please also note that our office will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day, and there will be no classes that day.

Welcome back Huskies! 🐾 We hope everyone had a great summer and is ready to kick off the Fall 2026 semester! Here are a few important reminders as we get started:

PSYC 1103 & PSYC 2100WQ labs will begin Tuesday, September 8th. PSYC 1100 labs will begin on Monday, September 14th. September 14th is also the last day to add/drop classes without a “W” appearing on your transcript.

This past semester, I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. I was able to travel to countries like Switzerland, Morocco, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, and many other amazing destinations while taking four classes!
