Central Penn College Baseball is excited to welcome Ivan Linares to the Knights! A Harrisburg native and 2026 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Ivan will stay close to home as he continues his academic and athletic career at Central Penn this fall.

Ivan will suit up at shortstop for the Knights while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Marketing. We’re excited to see what he brings to the field, the classroom and Knight Nation.

There is a lot to build on for the Knights! ⚽️ Central Penn College Women’s Soccer opened its season Thursday afternoon with a challenging test against Penn State Mont Alto, a program that reached the USCAA National Tournament last season and has won three PSUAC championships in the past five years.

The Knights battled throughout the afternoon and showed plenty of fight, particularly in the second half.

Freshman goalkeeper Erika Gerlach was outstanding in her collegiate debut, turning away 17 shots and making several big saves to keep Central Penn within striking distance.

Offensively, Honestee Coldsmith led the Knights with two shots, while Dylan Harris found the back of the net late in the first half to give Central Penn some momentum heading into the break.

“Coach Murren and I thought the girls played very well for the first match of the season, especially in the second half,” Coach Grubesky said. “Dylan Harris’ goal helped give us the confidence that we needed to compete with an excellent team.”

There’s plenty to be encouraged about after game one, and now the Knights get ready to bring it home.

Central Penn College is pleased to announce the launch of a new Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology!

This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in psychological science while developing practical, career-ready skills in research, communication, critical thinking, data analysis and ethical decision-making.

Students will have the opportunity to explore career pathway coursework in Behavioral Health & Human Services, Forensic Psychology and Sport Psychology, while gaining real-world experience through applied coursework and a dedicated Psychology internship.

The program reflects the College’s continued commitment to career-focused education and preparing students for professional opportunities.

🏐 VOLLEYBALL IS BACK AT CENTRAL PENN COLLEGE! Congratulations to Coach Jessica Dunbar on earning her first collegiate win and to our Knights on picking up their first win of the season!

Central Penn defeated Harrisburg Area Community College, 3-1, on August 29, marking an exciting milestone for a volleyball program that is just getting started.

Central Penn College's Volleyball program has a new team, a new chapter, and win No. 1 is officially in the books. We’re proud of Coach Dunbar, proud of these student-athletes and excited to see what they build from here.

The next generation of Central Penn College Athletics is ready to get to work.

This week, 28 new student-athletes signed their commitment letters to compete for the Knights this fall, including 15 new members of our baseball program alone. They’re coming to Central Penn to learn, compete, represent the Knights and to prepare for what comes after the final whistle, buzzer or out.

Because at Central Penn, being a student-athlete is about more than playing the game. Our Knights are building their resumes while building winning programs, gaining real-world skills while pursuing championships and preparing to leave Central Penn ready for whatever comes next.

Yesterday was a great day to be a Knight! We welcomed 150+ future students, parents and guardians to campus for Accepted Student Day, giving them a chance to see what life at Central Penn College is all about.

Students toured our new Career-Ready Housing, enjoyed food trucks, connected with faculty and staff, explored campus and took another big step toward starting their Central Penn journey this fall.

Central Penn College Men’s Basketball is excited to welcome Chance Yanoski to the campus for Fall 2026!

A Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania native and transfer from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Chance brings college experience to the backcourt and will suit up at shooting guard for the Knights.

Off the court, he’ll continue building toward his future as a Business Administration major.

Help us welcome Meredith N. Smith to the Central Penn College Education Foundation!

Meredith has been named the new Executive Director of the Central Penn College Education Foundation, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, healthcare and community service to .

Her mission is an important one: growing scholarship opportunities, building stronger partnerships and helping remove financial barriers so more Central Penn College students can reach their educational and career goals.

“Its my job to ensure we have the resources to meet those needs,” Smith said.

We’re excited to see what’s ahead as Meredith works with our donors, alumni, businesses and community partners to invest in our students and their success.
