Deshon Johnson, a native of Fayette, Mississippi, is an accomplished educational technology leader with a strong background in information technology and cybersecurity. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Alcorn State University and later advanced his education by completing graduate studies in Cybersecurity at Western Governors University.
Deshon began his professional career as a Desktop Technician with the Brookhaven School District before spending five years with Medsphere, where he expanded his technical expertise in systems support and healthcare IT environments. He currently serves as the Technology Director for the Amite County School District, a role he has held for over five years, leading district-wide technology initiatives that support both instructional and administrative operations.
In 2015, Deshon was initiated into the Delta Mu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., where he currently serves as the chapter Keeper of Records and Seal (KRS). He is also a proud member of Fort Adams Masonic Lodge.
Above all, Deshon is a devoted husband to his wife, Natasha, and a proud father of two sons, Ty Christian and Myles Easton.
