The Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), with over 30,000 members from each of the schools and colleges of pharmacy in the US, is the student branch of the American Pharmacists Association. Since its establishment, APhA-ASP has been instrumental in empowering students with the tools and experiences necessary to succeed in an evolving career. We offer a variety of patient care projects and community outreach programs that you can participate in or help lead once you are a member of our chapter. There are plenty of leadership roles you can also take part in that will help develop not only your CV but also your communication skills. Though it might seem a bit overwhelming at first, there is a place for everyone in APhA-ASP, no matter how much time you have or how much effort you want to put into it.
