Who likes podcasts? We do!

Listening to a podcast is a great and low-commitment way to absorb a lot of information in a little bit of time, so here is a handy-dandy list of great podcasts to help you celebrate women this month without adding to the pile of work/homework you're ignoring right now.

Hear stories from women of all ages, all backgrounds, all walks of life. What's uniform, among these podcasts, is their undeniable quality.

It’s International Women’s Day, so here are some facts and folks to celebrate!

Josephine Baker fought to overcome not only the Axis but also strict social standards for the female body and expression through her art as a performer and as a successful French spy.

All over the world, data show that women are empirically better at managing and using their resources.

In 1872 Victoria Woodhull ran for the office of the president because, while the constitution did not grant women the right to vote, it contained nothing the prohibited women from holding the chief executive position.

Bella Abzug, during her fight for gender equality, peace and international justice, created the National Women’s Political Caucus in hopes of creating a space for women in government and leadership roles.

As far as the world population goes, women out number men.

When Rachel Carson published “Silent Spring” she, almost single-handedly, drew national and international attention to human carbon emissions and the harmful environmental impacts they had.

Women’s History Month started as just one day on March 8, 1857. It was expanded to a week in 1981, and finally the whole month in 1987.
