Join us in congratulating Emily P. Rabinowitz, PhD, on receiving the 2026 Society for Health Psychology Post-Doc Clinical Award, a national honor presented by Division 38 of the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Rabinowitz is a postdoctoral researcher with the Center for Health Behavior and Psychology (CAS) and the Institute for Veteran and Military Families.

This highly competitive award recognizes outstanding early-career contributions to clinical health psychology. Being selected places Dr. Rabinowitz among a distinguished group of emerging leaders in the field and highlights the impactful research and clinical work taking place at Syracuse University.

Gabriella Larson’s advisors are Professor Amy Criss and Daniel Corral. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professor Michael Kalish. Professor Laura Machia will serve as chair of the defense. The title of her dissertation is: “Estimator and System Variables on Eyewitness Identification Procedure Outcomes.”
