Thirteen Syracuse University College of Law student attorneys are beginning their summer service to veterans and their families.

Recently sworn in by Grant Jaquith, the Summer 2026 student attorneys of the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic will provide free legal assistance to veterans seeking VA benefits and discharge upgrades.

Through the clinic, students gain hands-on legal experience while helping veterans and their families access the benefits and support they have earned. As Judge Jaquith shared during the ceremony, veterans advocacy often means helping veterans navigate "battles without bullets."

This work reflects Syracuse University's commitment to veterans and military-connected communities while preparing the next generation of advocates.

We celebrated the Army and Air Force ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at Syracuse University.

After years of early mornings, training, classes, leadership development, and hard work, these cadets officially took the next step in their journey as commissioned officers in the United States Army and Air Force.

We’re proud to recognize this milestone and celebrate the dedication it took to get here.
