The Graduate Programs Office coordinates recruitment, admissions, merit aid and student services for the professional master's programs at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Gwen Pratt earned her master’s degree in public relations from the Newhouse School in 2024. Gwenn was drawn in by the fast-track program and Newhouse’s renowned reputation. She found that COM 617 and VIS 607 were the most impactful, utilizing the skills learned in her current job daily. Today, Gwen applies these skills in her role as Multimedia Communications Officer at North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ). Carson earned his master’s degree in public relations from the Newhouse School in 2024. During his time at Newhouse, he built confidence through hands-on coursework in graphic design and video production, while also gaining a strong foundation in setting and measuring goals for content development. Today, Carson applies these skills in his role as Coordinator, Content & Community at Golf Canada.

Alumni Profile: Jordan Bonaparte G'22

Jordan graduated with a master's degree in advertising in 2022. At Newhouse, Jordan was prepared for the advertising world, learning different terminology and jargon throughout the program and also learning skills such as media math that he still uses today. Jordan utilizes these skills as a Sales Planner at NBCUniversal.
