Welcome to the Bobcat family, Joe Bono! 🎉
We're thrilled to announce Joe Bono has officially joined us as Athletic Director for the Syracuse Bobcats athletic program! 🏆
Joe brings a wealth of experience, most recently serving as Athletic Director for the City of Margate, FL, where he oversaw a wide range of staff and athletic programs. Joe is a former college athlete himself and has also coached basketball, swimming, and track and field. We’re excited for him to bring his well-rounded perspective to our program.
Fun Fact: Joe is from Cazenovia, NY just outside of Syracuse, and has returned to the area with his wife, Jessica and daughter, Lucy, to lead our athletics program.
Joe will work alongside Assistant AD Clay Sherman and our full coaching staff to continue building something special. A big thank-you to Coach Rich for stepping in as Assistant AD through mid-September to help Joe get settled.
