This year, the Puget Sound Piano Trio embarks on two new exciting projects: the Puget Sound Piano Trio Concert Series and our Campus Spaces initiative.
The Puget Sound Piano Trio Concert Series is an expanded offering of three concerts for our home concert audience at University of Puget Sound. These programs will explore a complete cycle of the Brahms piano trios, as well as chosen pairings of classical, romantic, and modern works on the first half of each concert.
Our other new effort for this year is our Campus Spaces initiative, in which we will seek to perform in many diverse spaces on our campus across the concert season. This effort seeks to connect us more palpably to our community, to serve as outreach to those who don't typically visit the concert hall, and to explore the musical possibilities of different campus venues.
Our series kickoff concert is this Sunday, October 7th at 2pm in the Tahoma Room (https://myatlascms.com/map/?id=1003 #!s/key=tahoma?m/171069), and features the iconic Brahms B Major Piano Trio as well as Daron Hagen's Trio No. 3, "Wayfaring Stranger".
We invite you to come with us for this joint musical and campus exploration and hope to see you at Sunday's concert--and at the post-concert reception! Tickets are available at: http://tickets.pugetsound.edu
