"The NSU Media Studies Campaign and Events class is tasked with creating an event each year to promote their program and shed light on what exactly is involved within the program at NSU.

This year, the group will bring in NSU alumni, all of whom have graduated from the media studies program while attending the university. The event is called Media Minded and is a panel-style seminar. Alumni will answer questions about media and their current careers. Students will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions and network with the panelists..."

Congratulations to the newly elected 2026-2027 President and Vice President, Suzy Greer and Ashlynn Berry! 💚🤍

Greer and Berry will serve as the 101st President and Vice President of NSGA. They will be inaugurated at the NSGA banquet in April and will attend transitional meetings to prepare for the beginning of their term in May!

We appreciate their dedication to NSGA and the student body over this past year and can't wait to see what their administration has in store!

The NSU Department of Communication and Media Studies will hold a Media Minded panel, from 11 a.m. to noon, April 15 in the Webb Auditorium.

The Media Minded panel comprises five media studies alumni who work in the media industry, with brands such as TGI Promo and OKC Thunder. The panel’s purpose is to provide the audience with a glimpse into the current media industry and how media studies prepared the panelists for their current roles.

Today, we introduce our first Media Minded panelist, Amber Row. Amber graduated from the NSU Media Studies program in 2006. Row is currently the Senior Marketing and Brand Manager for Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods. In her position, Row routinely works with major brands such as Wrangler, Ariat and more.
